Mathematical Reviews (1940-present)
Since 1940, this print monthly journal has provided reviews of
the world's current mathematical literature, classified according
to Mathematics Subject Classification. Professional mathematicians
assign expert reviewers from around the world to review current
published research. Over 55,000 reviews or abstracts are published
each year. Subscriptions include annual author and subject indexes.
MathSciNet
MathSciNet is the Web-based version of Mathematical Reviews
(MR), containing all the reviews published in MR since its founding
in 1940. There are presently nearly 1.85 million reviews. There
are many additional features, including a variety of search options
and the ability to navigate the literature using an extensive
network that contains over 304,000 links to original articles.

Current Mathematical Publications
(1965-present)
This journal, published every three weeks, is a subject index
of recent and forthcoming mathematical publications that have
been selected and classified by the editors of the Mathematical
Reviews (MR) Database. The classification scheme used is the 2000 Mathematics Subject Classification. With 17 issues
per year in print, CMP is a subject index of recent and forthcoming
mathematical publications. Each issue also contains an author
and key index. Author and key indexes covering a half year are
included in issue number 9 and in issue number 17. Each issue
contains a list of the serials represented in that issue and a
separate listing of serial additions and changes, as well as a
section containing the tables of contents of certain journals.
e-CMP: Electronic Notification Service for Current Mathematical Publications
This e-mail service is available to members of the American Mathematical
Society. Members may receive listings by e-mail of bibliographic
information in CMP, roughly every three weeks, in up to three
Mathematics Subject Classification areas.
MRef
MRef is a free tool for creating standard references with links
to MathSciNet. A reference can be copied and pasted into the MRef
window or directly typed in. No special formatting is required,
other than placing the author name(s) first. MRef provides unfielded
matching across the full MathSciNet Database.
MR Lookup MR Lookup is a free product for verifying
references and adding links to MathSciNet. It provides multi-field
searching across the full MR Database.
Featured Review volumes
Featured
Reviews were introduced in Mathematical Reviews in 1995 to help users
of the MR Database identify the most important new research-level books
and papers in mathematics. Items selected for a Featured Review contain
interesting ideas or applications, a deep synthesis of existing ideas, or
some combination of these. These volumes contain reprints of the Featured
Reviews added to the MR Database in a given period; they are grouped in
broad subject areas.

Indexes
Print index volumes containing the bibliographic data, classifications
and a reference to the review of items in the Mathematical Reviews
Database have been published as follows: Annual author and subject indexes of Mathematical Reviews;
cumulative author and subject indexes, covering items and reviews added to
the MR Database over a span of years; and cumulative author and subject
indexes in a given subject area.
