The Department of Mathematics at Prairie View A&M University will host its Fourth Annual Mathematics Awareness Month Celebration, April 1 - April 6, 2002. Scheduled activities will be Seminars, Workshops, and Secondary Level Mathematics Competitions (April 5, 2002).

Mathematics Awareness Month is sponsored each year by the Joint Policy Board for Mathematics to recognize the importance of mathematics through written materials and an accompanying poster that highlight mathematical developments and applications in a particular area.
