Science and Mathematics: "Nutrition and Money" Objective: To apply the use of money in everyday life situation (shopping). The activity will begin with a fieldtrip to a local Dominicks Food Store. The store has an onsite experience planned for my young consumer-nutritionists. The choices made for good nutrition depend on the amount of money available and how a person budgets. The students will use many denominations of paper money and coins. They will make a grocery list and other activities will follow.
