Cameron University's student club, Department of Mathematical Sciences, and Department of Computing and Technology host a week's worth activities. Some of the activities include a poster presentation related to this year's theme and a panel presentation on internet security.

Mathematics Awareness Month is sponsored each year by the Joint Policy Board for Mathematics to recognize the importance of mathematics through written materials and an accompanying poster that highlight mathematical developments and applications in a particular area.
