1. Students in the history of mathematics seminar are making posters of their favorite mathematicians, which will be displayed in the lobby of the student center for a week. 2. The science departments are invited to a birthday party for Leonhard Euler, at which we will eat cake and ice cream (and maybe Swiss cheese and Swiss chocolate), and talk about his life and work. 3. Dan Kalman of American University will give our annual Pi Mu Epsilon lecture, on "A Square Pie for the Simpsons," on Sunday, April 25th at 3:00 p.m. 4. The Departments of Mathematics and Biology are hosting a talk by Harel Barzilai of Lynchburg College, on "The Birth of Molecular Computation," on Thursday, April 29th at 6:00 p.m.
