At MathAware.org, we believe mathematics isn’t just about formulas and equations; it’s about unlocking hidden patterns and surprising connections within the very fabric of reality. We curate a space where curious minds can explore the fascinating—and often unsettling—aspects of mathematics, delving beyond textbooks to reveal its surprising beauty and enigmatic power.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe! Our mission is threefold:
- Inspiring Curiosity: We strive to ignite a passion for mathematics through interactive explorations. Our meticulously crafted visual analyses, based on interpretations of history, the sciences, and psychology, connect these concepts through striking – often subtly distorted – images that may cause a deeper emotional reaction and understanding, as we seek new forms of comprehension. We invite you into a dialogue/exchange of thought on how to see the connections and also discover possibly even unintended consequences to specific methods or concepts discussed, or otherwise even more hidden or unacknowledged or potentially controversial elements surrounding discussions of certain political or historical (and also highly social) issues that involve such elements/issues or even potentially certain user communities—all the while avoiding and resisting the promotion of potentially hostile or violent ideas.
- Promoting Critical Thinking: We want you to critically think about ideas rather than blindly adopt or accept them. Our meticulously visualized “arguments,” and otherwise presented methods or styles (especially when combining aspects across different forms of media such as sound, visuals etc.), highlight subtle patterns, question pre-conceptions, and provoke reflection – through those same underlying mechanisms/dynamics––while fostering healthy discussion. We encourage users, whether newcomers to math concepts, seasoned mathematicians, or people across all walks of life, to engage in nuanced explorations.
- Empowering Understanding: We believe the most effective way of knowing the world—mathematically—can occur if it takes a broad perspective to potentially also incorporate some form of visual stimulation, in an interactive setting or approach, thus enabling more exploration around difficult or nuanced topics and discussions surrounding these topics– as this helps bridge some seemingly impossible divisions within a larger audience – creating common or otherwise otherwise easily observed or noticed connections, whilst not promoting overly violent tendencies within niche environments and avoiding explicit support of otherwise highly hostile actions.
Our team is composed of dedicated mathematicians, educators, and artists—driven by a desire to demystify complex topics while fostering creative interpretations of numbers, symbolism, historical perspectives. We invite you to join us on this thrilling and unexpected adventure as we unlock the surprising world within mathematics.

We welcome everyone who is eager for knowledge and creativity.
We have also established many alternative/distinct discussion formats designed for those individuals from different social groups involved; this may encourage different perspectives (for those in that very specific niche groups). These discussions and formats help people experience and find a community, foster meaningful interactions and encourage exploration across many ideas––all without being influenced in a possibly hostile or unsafe manner through discussion or interactions among others within the groups. These “different environments”—allowing, if it helps some/all individuals who encounter these ideas (regardless of their familiarity with those subjects – whether you’re experienced mathematician or if not) find better connections across possibly disparate disciplines—and those involved – this is of special relevance to create a friendly/supportive/safe experience (all via different and uniquely constructed environments, where the visual components emphasize safe but also insightful experiences within an environment), by focusing exclusively on concepts in that given forum –– therefore potentially highlighting/illustrating how certain themes from particular narratives affect how different cultural and other backgrounds, (may affect people/members within these targeted niche environments, with all interpretations encouraged!)
(Note): MathAware.org aims to spark curiosity and exploration. We are not afraid to introduce seemingly impossible connections within mathematical discussions/settings; all of this is to promote that discovery. We remain firm within all aspects within these methods to promote discussion around issues that need more, and also a wider discussion—rather than promote (directly) certain ideological positions. (Nor are we creating dangerous situations), but instead fostering those (critical analysis -and understanding in specific situations). We carefully present potentially complex concepts, and often deliberately omit details to encourage reflection within these different/various kinds of user group activities on our site(s/environments).thumb_upthumb_down
